Ettalong Italian Festa

 Sunday 17th of May we headed to the Ettalong Italian Festa.

A small group of 13 IMSMC cars and 30 participants met at Thornleigh McDonald’s and made our way up the freeway in our usual cavalcade style.

As we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the event organisers and people already coming in to enjoy the festa.

We parked our beautiful cars in place, and throughout the day visiting members of the public shared comments like “I had one of these years ago,” “This was just like the car Nonno drove,” and “Beautiful car, mate.” It just goes to show how special our club really is and the impact we make.

There was plenty of food to choose from — pizza, pasta, waffles, gelato, and even some non‑Italian options for those who preferred something different.

The Festa has really grown since our last visit, with activities such as grape stomping, handmade market stalls throughout the building, singing and on‑stage entertainment, and even a gelato‑eating competition.

The day ran smoothly, and a great time was had by all. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to Ettalong.
