On Sunday, 13 September, thirty-five member vehicles were presented at Gough Whitlam Park, Tempe, for our annual Concorso D'Eleganza, hosted by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club of NSW.
The weather was perfect for a day in the park, providing an ideal backdrop to showcase our magnificent machines.
Members proudly displayed their vehicles for all to admire and appreciate. We are fortunate to have such a diverse collection of historic, classic, and modern Italian-made vehicles within our club. The automotive designs that have emerged from Italy over the past century and beyond remain the envy of the motoring world.
No Italian gathering would be complete without an abundance of gelato, caffè, and panini. Most importantly, however, the day was filled with smiles, camaraderie, and great friendships, complemented by a wonderful array of homemade treats shared among members.
As always, our judges did an exceptional job, and we sincerely thank them for their time and dedication. Judging such a high-quality field is never easy, but they certainly made it look like a "walk in the park". Our thanks go to Gerardo Mediati, Nat Stillone, Tony Portelli, Vicken Babkenian, Raffi Babkenian, and Tony Albanese.
One of the highlights of the day was the selection of the prestigious "Car of Cars" award. Chosen by the presidents of the participating clubs, this honour was awarded to a stunning Fiat Abarth. Congratulations to Tony Campisi on this well-deserved recognition.
Congratulations also go to our category winners:
• Lui Torrisi, Modern Spider, 2012 Maserati GranCabrio

It was a fantastic day with an outstanding turnout. The support shown by members for one another was especially heart-warming. Following each category announcement, applause and comments such as "Well done, mate" and "Well deserved" echoed throughout the crowd, reflecting the strong spirit of friendship and community that makes our club so special.
Congratulations to all our winners and participants. We look forward to many more opportunities to showcase our wonderful vehicles and celebrate our shared passion for Italian motoring.
