Festa Della Repubblica 2022

Sunday the 29th of May saw the Festa Della Repubblica celebrated in true Italian flair at Club Marconi. 66 members attended bringing with them a total of 48 cars. Scores of family, friends and guests participated in a GREAT DAY celebrating the 2022 Festa Della Repubblica!

What a glorious day... Full of culture, food, drink, music and fine art in the form of classic Italian automobile design! The weather was great, the company was second to none! Our club stall was kept significantly busy. A huge thank you to our "bancarella staff", Cate Stivala, Nina Stillone & Oriana De Iullio for their assistance - a huge effort. To the committee, directing traffic, issuing lunch vouchers and organising the cars a huge thank you. Most of all to each participant - OUR CARS LOOKED GREAT and attracted attention all day, making a significant contribution to the festivities.

We thank the organisers of the day and the Marconi Club executive, for giving up the time to offer 3 trophies in recognition to our cars! We congratulate Frank Saya, Frank Roccisano & Luigi Cavallaro, receiving the trophies this year!

Thank you to the many helpers, assisting with banners, stock movement and setting up our stall ( assisting at the end of the day as well). Everyone always keen to lend a hand and share with traditional home made cakes and other assorted home made goodies.

There was SO MUCH activity throughout the day, that before long, it was home time! A great day had by all.

Thank YOU to everyone involved in making the day what it was! We welcomed a few new members as well... We look forward to seeing them and welcoming them in future events and activities.

Thanks Club Marconi!  A memorable event!
