OH WHAT A NIGHT!
On the evening of Saturday the 1st of March 2014, members and their guests of IMSMC celebrated in style at the annual ball, held at the Mediterranean House Function Centre in Five Dock.
Friends and family alike greeted each other in the foyer over Canape's and pre-dinner drinks which began
at 5:30pm. An hour later, guests had found their way upstairs to their tables and formalities by our President opened the evening welcoming all and thanking
everyone for their attendance and passion throughout the year.
The party began!
The staff of Mediterranean House,
provided an abundance of quality food & service throughout the night!
It soon became obvious what the 240 members,
family & friends had come to do...DANCE! And dance they did...many finding
"those moves" that took them back to the "disco floors" of
years gone by!
Halfway through the evening, our
floor show was provided by Ms Tina Petroni. Tina has recently finished recording with Tommy Emmanuel and performed at a gala event for Princess
Mary. Tina involved the IMSMC crowd - which required no encouragement at all!
Our monster raffle was a huge
success. We thank and commend each of our sponsors for their contribution at
the ball and throughout the year.
The night continued in great
company, food, drink and MORE DANCING!...Member Anthony Vecchio celebrated a
milestone Birthday, providing a cake - sharing the night surrounded by his
family. A memorable night Anthony!!!
