Concorso D'eleganza 2018

Sunday 11Th November saw the 3rd attempt at the Annual Concorso D’Eleganza at Gough Whitlam Park, Earlwood. After 2 previous washouts it turned out to be a perfect spring day.

At 10:59am, member Ray Beattie Sounded a whistle in preparation for the 11:00AM minute of Silence. The whistle is a Genuine NSW Police whistle, issued in the 1890's - Made in Birmingham - Our members recognised that Ray was preparing for the minute silence. He also donated an Australian Flag to our Club, truly touched by the experience and reverence that everyone showed.

Thank you everyone who respected the minute of silence for the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day.

Our Club exhibited 35 Cars and each member in attendance with their car received a 2018 memento, reflecting our 10th anniversary, as IMSMC.
In order to encourage the "social aspect & anniversary of our Club", we introduced 3 categories;

Encouragement Award went to Rino Zanello with his Fiat 2300S for his continued passion and participation.

Special Interest went to Fabio Santarelli for his modified Fiat 500 Abarth.

President’s choice went to Charlie Losinno for his beautifully restored and unique 1948 Topolino.

Our sponsors were also acknowledged with presentation of plaques for their continued generosity. We greatly appreciate their generosity.
Thank you everyone who attended to make this another memorable and enjoyable day.
