On Saturday the 11th of December, our
"deferred" annual general meeting, was held a the CSI club in
Scofields.
All formalities were undertaken and
presented. Thank you to all in attendance and thanks especially for your input
on all matters discussed.
Throughout the meeting we highlighted the support by our sponsors & our participating members.
At the conclusion of the meeting, we
moved into the main hall for an exquisite meal.. to our surprise an entree was
supplied, which was delicious! Conversations continued into the evening, while in the background a slide show of our events was displayed on the club screen.
As the night came
to a conclusion, one member "shouted" coffee to each participant
(Thanks Leo!) A special mention to Gerardo & Frances Mediati for
transporting the "Mille Foglie" cake...it was a bit of a task, but
they made it happen!
2022 will see many special events ( in
the process of being organised and in the planning) .
This year has seen Rose Cara retiring
from the committee. Rose has been an active committee representative for 8
years. In that time she brought expertise, ideas and organisational skills, applying
them to many "Big Events" and some special floor shows at our Annual
"Dinner dance/Balls". Thank you for all that you have contributed Rose.
We welcome Elissa Losinno into the
committee. Elissa brings fresh & new ideas into our club. Her vibrancy is
resonating in events she has already planned, firstly and namely
"The return of our annual ball!" Thanks Elissa and welcome to the
committee.
